Volunteering at SAPCR rescue organization gives you the chance to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable animals. By helping, you provide love, care, and a safe environment for cats in need, while also supporting their journey to find loving forever homes. It’s a rewarding way to give back, meet fellow animal lovers, and make a lasting impact on your community!

Fill Out a Volunteer Application

Ways you can help…

  • With the animals...

    • Take a weekly/bi-weekly shift at the Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue home or Adoption Center
    • Refresh food and water, clean litter boxes, help with laundry
    • Brush cats to keep them looking their best for adoptions
    • Be a cat cuddler and play time – help socialize the Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue cats/kittens
    • Transport cats to and from adoption center, vet visits

  • Administrative tasks...

    • Get involved with advertising and fundraising: marketing, grant writing, sponsorships
    • Snap cute photos, videos and write clever bios for adoption ads

  • In the community...

    • Become a Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue Adoption Counselor
    • Help spread the word about volunteering at SAPCR
    • Before-and-after help with adoption events

    To become a volunteer, please fill out and submit our online volunteer application form or print our PDF volunteer application form and return to us,  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

    Volunteer hours are 10AM-6PM Saturday to Sunday at Adoption Center. Volunteering at Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue home is morning and evening shifts Monday to Sunday. Anyone interested in volunteering must attend a one-time orientation (orientations are held once a month).
